Groups/Families

Group and family therapy is a type of therapy where three or more individuals come together to meet with a therapist who facilitates the conversation. This form of therapy can be highly beneficial as it allows for multiple perspectives and experiences to be shared, leading to a deeper understanding of oneself and others. In group therapy, individuals have the opportunity to connect with others who may be experiencing similar challenges, fostering a sense of validation and support. Family therapy, on the other hand, focuses on improving communication and resolving conflicts within the family unit. The therapist plays a crucial role in guiding the conversation and helping participants gain insight into their relationships and patterns of behavior. Overall, group and family therapy provide a unique and effective approach to addressing interpersonal issues and promoting emotional well-being.
